Cookies statement
FLOWFACTOR NV is committed to your privacy and processing of your personal data. We therefore make every effort to explain plainly and clearly with this cookie statement which cookies we use on our website and how we collect personal data. We also explain what we use them for and what your rights are in this respect.
When you visit our website, we may process personal data using online techniques such as cookies, trackers, scripts, and similar technologies (hereinafter referred to as “cookie(s)”). In principle, however, these technologies always serve the same purpose: the retrieval and tracking of information on your device, so throughout this cookie statement we will continue to use the well-known term: ‘cookie(s)’. They can be (1) essential cookies that are strictly necessary to send a message via an electronic communications network, to ensure the security of our website or to store information about the provision of a service that you expressly requested; (2) functional cookies that further shape your use of our website; (3) analytical cookies to measure and analyse your use of our website; (4) marketing cookies to deliver (personalised) advertisements; and (5) other third-party cookies that we allow on our website.

2. What are cookies and similar technologies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your device when you visit. Cookies allow a site to remember you, your preferences, or what you did on previous visits.
We also use "similar technologies" like pixels, tags, local storage and SDKs. In this statement, "cookies" covers all of these for simplicity.
3. Categories of cookies we use
We classify cookies into four categories:

- Marketing - allow us to measure ad effectiveness and reach you with relevant content elsewhere. Consent required.
Before any non-essential cookies are placed, we ask for your consent via our cookie banner.

Some cookie data is processed by US-based providers (Google, LinkedIn, Webflow). We rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework as the legal basis for these transfers. See our Privacy Policy section 5 for more detail.
7. Managing your cookies
Cookie preferences
You can change your consent choices any time by clicking the cookie preferences button (available once our Consent Management Platform is fully installed). This re-opens the cookie banner so you can change which categories you allow.
Withdraw consent entirely
If you previously gave consent and want to withdraw it, click the cookie preferences button above and uncheck all non-essential categories, or contact us at hello@flowfactor.be.
Delete cookies from your browser
You can delete cookies that are already stored on your device through your browser settings: Chrome (Settings - Privacy and security - Clear browsing data), Safari (Safari - Settings - Privacy - Manage Website Data), Firefox (Settings - Privacy & Security - Clear Data), Edge (Settings - Privacy, search, and services - Clear browsing data). Note: deleting cookies may affect how the site works. You may also be re-asked for consent on your next visit.
Opt out of specific tools
- Google Analytics: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on
- LinkedIn Insight Tag: Manage in your LinkedIn ad settings
- Google Ads: Manage in your Google Ads Settings
Do Not Track
We respect "Do Not Track" signals where technically supported and legally required. However, browser support is inconsistent, so we recommend using our consent banner as the primary way to manage your preferences.
8. How often we ask for consent again
We will ask for your cookie consent again after 6 months (or as configured in our CMP), when we add new types of cookies, when the legal basis for processing changes, or if you actively withdraw consent.
9. Changes to this statement
We may update this statement to reflect changes in our cookie use, our tools, or applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when changes were made.
